DDA Mega E-Auction 2023: All You Need to Know

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced a mega e-auction for prime plots, built-up shops, kiosks, mobile tower sites, and various other properties. The mega auction includes 157 plots across different categories, which include 50 institutional plots, 12 industrial plots, 46 residential plots, two group housing plots, 28 commercial plots, and 19 small-size residential plots at Rohini. All these plots are available on a freehold basis.

The DDA mega e-auction (18th phase) is open for registration till 6 November 2023 (6PM). The online auction bidding for these properties is scheduled to take place over three days from 7-9 November 2023.

Properties in DDA Mega Auction

The available properties comprise a diverse range across various locations. In Rohini Sector 32, there are group housing plots, with sizes ranging from 9,450 square meters (sqm) to 10,060 sqm.

Moving on to residential plots, they are spread across multiple sectors including Rohini sectors 25, 18, 7, 36, 37, along with Shalimar Bagh, Dwarka Sector 17, New Rajinder Nagar, West Patel Nagar, Mukherjee Nagar, and Janakpuri. The plot sizes in these areas vary significantly, ranging from 32 sqm to 357 sqm. Additionally, there are small residential plots situated in Rohini sectors 29, 30, 34, and 37, offering sizes between 26 sqm and 60 sqm.

For those interested in commercial ventures, plots are available in Dwarka sectors 8 and 17, Bindapur, Model Town, Mayur Vihar district centre, Yamuna Vihar, and Narela. The sizes of these commercial plots span from 100 sqm to 12,602 sqm. The scheme also offers 12 industrial plots, strategically located in Mangolpuri Phase I and Phase II, Keshopur Industrial Area, and Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, ranging from 10 sqm to 399.6 sqm.

Kiosks, a popular business option, are found in key locations such as Lajpat Nagar II, Laxmi Nagar, Bhalaswa, Pitampura, and Rajouri Garden. The sizes of these kiosks range from six to 16 sqm. Additionally, there are built-up shops available in various areas including Vikaspuri, Paschim Vihar, Pitampura, Narela, Shalimar Bagh, Rohini sectors 3, 7, and 8, Janakpuri, Peeragarhi, Vasant Kunj, and Dwarka Sector 23. These vacant built-up shops measure between 6.96 sqm and 322 sqm.

The DDA has set ambitious reserve prices for the properties, which vary according to the type and location of the plot. The reserve prices for group housing plots range from Rs 66.22 crore to Rs 70.50 crore. For residential plots, the range spans from Rs 22.42 lakh to Rs 4.55 crore. Commercial plots come with reserve prices ranging from Rs 1.25 crore to Rs 257.4 crore, and industrial plots have reserve prices that vary from Rs 10.51 lakh to Rs 5.91 crore. Kiosks are offered with monthly license fees ranging between Rs 3,100 and Rs 10,500, while built-up shops have reserve prices ranging from Rs 8.56 lakh to Rs 6.75 crore.

DDA Auction: How to Participate

The e-auction, which is the 18th phase of its mega e-auction, allows registration until November 6, 2023. For prospective bidders, the DDA has established a dedicated help desk at its office in the Nagrik Suvidha Kendra, Vikas Sadan, INA, which is operational from Monday to Friday, 11 am to 5 pm. This desk will assist with inquiries and provide guidance on digital signatures, registration, and bidder training.

The auction process is meticulously planned, with different categories scheduled for bidding on specific dates. Bidding for function sites, kiosks, mobile tower sites, CNG/green fuel sites, and institutional plots will occur on November 7. On November 8, bidding for industrial, residential, and small-size residential plots will take place. Finally, on November 9, the auction will feature commercial and group housing plots, Janak Place shops, and built-up shops.

To facilitate the application process, the DDA has provided QR codes in advertisements and on social media platforms. These QR codes grant access to all relevant information for potential bidders. The registration and participation in the auction process will be conducted exclusively online via the DDA’s e-auction platform.
